Entre el 2 y el 7 de abril se realizó una movilidad de profesores a Irlanda, concretamente a Ennis, situado en la provincia de Clare.
Esta movilidad ha servido para intercambiar opiniones y experiencia con coordinadores Erasmus de otros centros de España y también para conocer los lugares dónde nuestros alumnos van a realizar sus prácticas FCT entre el 10 de mayo y el 20 de junio.
La localidad de Ennis se encuentra en el oeste de Irlanda, en el condado de Clare. Durante nuestra estancia allí, visitamos distintas empresas como CUMMINS CAR CENTRE de TOYOTA, TIERNEY’S I.T., DPS COMMUNICATIONS, TOTAL VISION AND SECURITY LTD Y LAPTOPWAREHOUSE, dónde ya hay alumnos del consorcio LA SALLE DREAM ARLEP+ y pudimos comprobar de primera mano cómo están viviendo esta experiencia.
También realizamos una mañana de inmersión en el sistema educativo irlandés, para así poder conocer de primera mano las diferencias y similitudes entre ambos y seguir mejorando de cara a futuras movilidades y dos visitas a localidades cercanas. Una tarde nos acercamos a los Acantilados de Moher, que alcanzan os 214 metros de altura y son uno de los principales atractivos del condado de Clare y también nos acercamos a la ciudad de Galway, a 65 km de Ennis.
La experiencia ha sido muy gratificante tanto a nivel profesional como personal y ahora sólo nos queda contarles a nuestros alumnos todo lo que se van a encontrar en la fantástica ciudad de Ennis.
TEACHERS TRIP TO IRELAND
Between the 2nd and the 7th of April a group of teachers visited Ennis in the county of Clare in Ireland.
This mobility just important for us to exchange opinions and experiences with other Erasmus+ coordinators from other centres in Spain, and also to know the places where our students from Institución La Salle are going to do their Internships from May, 10th to June, 20th.
Ennis is located in the west side of Ireland, in the county of Clare. During our stay there, we visited different companies such as CLARE LANGUAGE CENTRE, CUMMINS CAR CENTRE TOYOTA, TIERNEY’S I.T., DPS COMMUNICATIONS, TOTAL VISION AND SECURITY LTD and LAPTOPWAREHOUSE, where we could exchange opinions and experiences with the students who are already in Ennis.
In addition we took part in an inmersion programme about the Irish Educational System, where we learnt the differences and similarities between both educational systems, so we can improve and adjust our students needs when travelling there.
Finally we visited two surrounding cities. One afternoon we went to the Cliffs of Moher, which are 214 meters high and that are considered one of the main tourist attractions in the country of Clare, and we also visited Galway, which is 65 km away from Ennis.
The experience has been very satisfying, both professionally and personally, and now we just have to inform our students about what to expect from the great city of Ennis
