Last Wednesday 21st February, Carmen, from the company “Ecoembes”, came to school to explain to us the importance of the 3 `R´s (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) to protect our environment and make less pollution.
First, she told us that we should sort out the rubbish in different trash cans: yellow (packaging, plastic, tins, cans), blue (card and paper), green (glass) and grey (food waste and nappies).
Then, we had to stick some items of rubbish we brought in different rubbish bags so we could find out where to put each thing so it´s in the correct place.
Finally, Carmen encouraged us to show and teach the little children that we need to do something to keep our world green.
We al lloved the activity and we are sure that by working together we can make our world a better place to live.
