For this year´s Halloween, July prepared different activities adapted to each age group and level. With the Infants, we sang Halloween songs, learned simple vocabulary, and practiced saying ¨Trick or treat!¨ Each student received a pumpkin cutout to color after saying the phrase. We also played Trick or Treat cards, where a trick meant a funny challenge and a treat meant they were safe.
With the 1st and 2nd Primary, July told them the story, ¨The Little Orange House.¨ As she read, the pupils followed cutting instructions with orange paper, revealing a surprise pumpkin face at the end. Their reactions were priceless!
With 3rd to 6th Primary, July gave a short informative presentation about the history of Halloween, its colors, and traditions in Spain, the USA, and even her country, the Philippines. We also played a tongue twister game, ¨Would You Rather¨ speaking questions, and finished with a Halloween escape room full of puzzles and challenges. It was a blast!
