Last week, our school celebrated Thanksgiving with the help of our conversation assistant, Payton. Students in Infants and Primary school learned about the North American holiday and its traditions, such as the famous Thanksgiving parade and traditional foods like turkey and pumpkin pie.
As part of the celebration, the children reflected on what they are thankful for, expressing their gratitude in heartfelt messages.
They also got creative by making turkey crafts, a fun activity that highlighted the turkey as a key symbol of the holiday.
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about North American culture while fostering creativity and appreciation. What are you thankful for?
