Throughout the week of 17th – 21st April students in the Bachillerato classes have been celebrating World Book Day in preparation for the 23rd of April. We organized various activities to celebrate this day as it deserves and to focus on the importance of reading.
This special day takes place on the 23rd of April because it’s the anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare and prominent chronicler and writer Inca Garcilaso de la Vega.
In the ALECE classes students enjoyed participating in a trivia quiz about book-to-screen adaptations, famous literary characters, and authors from the English-speaking world, including Agatha Christie, Charles Dickens, and J.R.R. Tolkien. Massive congratulations to Team 5 from class 1ºA who won the competition!
